Digit-Photo
Website redesign of a reseller specialised in video photo equipment and accessories.
Context
This project wasn’t just about redesigning the website to give it modern feel it also included a rebranding and the creation of marketing and communication strategy in order to increase the online sales of the company.
Goal
To achieve that, I first conducted a market and an internal analysis which included an UX and SEM website audit. These analyses enabled me to define relevant targets and to establish the following 2 SMART objectives:
- - Increase the current conversion rate by 10% before the end of 2023
- - To increase the current organic traffic by 20% 3 months after the redesign of the site
Targeted users
Primary target
Photo and video lovers who need equipment with good value for money for their work or hobbies.
Core of target
Professional photographer who are looking for specific and high quality products and likely to regularly buy equipment for their work.
Approach
I began to work on the branding. The visual identity had to be kind of responsive and to work on dark and light background.
To continue, I started to think about the website and its functionalities. Having different personas helped me defining the user stories associated to the functionalities. I ended up at this stage with a web tree and high fidelity wireframes. After that, I easily designed the final UI of the website and I prototyped different user flows.
